Hello all!

Tomorrow we will be having our general club meeting. We will be previewing some upcoming project presentations from a couple of our members as well as discussing some important club business.

Some of the important business includes approval of constitutional amendments as well as drafting in our new Club Treasurer. We will be casting votes on tomorrow, so please be there!

Hey Guys,
Our site has been getting really stale as of late, and it hasn't been exactly performing it's function at least up to my standards. Over the course of the next few weeks you will see this website change LOTS. We'll be adding new sections, removing unused sections, and (hopefully) making things much easier.

There is a suggestions link up in the top, which will stay there for right now. I want you all to use it! Let me know what you want to see on our website. Or, if you prefer, you can leave a comment below.

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to winter quarter 2012! Our first meeting will be coming up this Friday in the ATC building. Our first order of business will be getting geared up for club day next week.

We will be designing our new club board to promote our club that day. The club will also update our flyer, making it better, brighter, and shinier. Bring your ideas with you!

The meeting will be held tomorrow from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, in ATC room 205 (first door on the right from the main entrance).

I regretfully inform you that tomorrow's meeting will be cancelled due to a time conflict and proximity to second examinations. Best of luck on all of your exams and have a great holiday!

We will be meeting in earnest next quarter beginning the first week of the quarter! In the next few days I will have a poll online wherein all members need to vote for the best time to meet next quarter. This is REQUIRED so that we can schedule a meeting that works best for us all.

Ever wondered how its like to work for NASA?
De Anza ACM is holding a speaker event this coming Friday and you are warmly invited to attend!

Our speaker, Dennis Gonzales is a web-designer at NASA and he has agreed to honor us with his presence and share with us what his work is about.

General questions include:
-How is it like working for the Government Sector of this nature?
-What makes an outstanding webpage given his level of responsibility?
-What does NASA expect from a professional web-designer?

The De Anza ACM is organizing a Google Field Trip for Members this coming Friday!
We will meet in De Anza College at exactly 2:00pm. (Admissions and Records) and drive to Google's Headquarters in Mountain View.
A 5$ confirmation fee is required in order to secure your seat for the event - this money will go towards gas for those driving and a gift for our Google Contact. You can confirm your name with either Marie Taylor Harper or Liew.

*There are only limited seats of 15 people and given to those who have given the 5$ confirmation fee in a first come first served basis.

We need volunteers next week for the De Anza College Open House. Marie is looking for anyone who has been here for any amount of time. Open House will be on 21st of May, from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Please ask Marie for more details about what needs to be done. Volunteers will be provided with free food, a T-shirt, and drinks.

Hello All!

At long last, the new additions and improvements to our club website are now set up. You will now receive (by default) notifications about site updates via email, just like in Google Groups. This is by default set to send out one notifier per post. You have the option to configure this to send only on given intervals, as well as the option to receive only a weekly digest of what updates have been posted.

EDIT: All e-mail notifications will be prefixed with the following subject token for easy sorting:
